Repeat! Simple Serpents in Goldenrod and Slate

Looking through images of snakes was not my favorite, but it was definitely good inspiration. This design just tickles me! It is really cute and has great movement. I like that this design has a similar feel to ancient illustrations of serpents, but is runway-ready for right now!

I just can't get enough of this rich gold, especially when it is paired with such a deep slate color! Simple serpent shapes have been inspiring since the very beginning! Clockwise: a Hopewell mica serpent , an aboriginal snake carved from wood, a creepy and beautiful dress by Iris Van Herpen, and a snake sculpture made from book bags by Ai Weiwei.

Repeat! Folds in Gold

This design captures the dimension of folded paper, with the consistency and repetitions of a surface design. The gold is so pretty and makes this design look super classy! I would love to see this printed in a flowing silk.
